Refunds at Orion DNA Services are granted at our discretion and may include administrative and handling fees. Please note that partial payments and deposits are non-refundable due to the need to secure supplies and the costs incurred after purchase.
No refunds will be issued once a service has been scheduled with a DNA collector and supplies have been obtained (which occurs after ordering) or supplies have already been shipped.
After-Birth DNA Testing: If a full payment has been made and the appointment is canceled, a $25 cancellation fee will apply.
Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT): Cancellations for NIPT will incur a $200 non-refundable fee.
For cancellations made more than 48 hours after payment, the appointment will not be eligible for a full refund, and a $75 cancellation fee will apply. If Orion DNA Services reaches out to a member of the party for sample collection and a participant is unable or unwilling to comply, no refund will be provided. In such cases, tests may only be rescheduled.
While results often arrive sooner than expected, occasional delays may occur. Once testing has begun, refunds are unavailable and not guaranteed due to rare circumstances that could affect lab sample processing. Turnaround times on results are estimates based on our typical processing schedules.
Appointments are subject to the terms and conditions stated in the customer information and consent form agreed upon at the time of booking, as well as the policies outlined on our website.
